LG – SIGNATURE  M3 Series – Virtual Production Case Study

LG is advertising a gaming monitor with a video campaign shot at a  virtual production studio equipped with a 1.5mm pixel pitch LED volume.   Virtual production has entered a new phase as commercial shoots for display technology are now being shot in virtual studios using LED backdrops. In October 2023, it was announced that a new promotional video for LG’s latest gaming monitor had been filmed at Blu Media Studio, a virtual production studio in Taxes Plano by Greenvox Media.  Blu Media Studio, led by Melissa and Gartland offers a 6,500-square-foot virtual production film studio for hire. The studio features P1.5-millimeter LED filming displays for photo-realistic environments that offer greater clarity than the P2.6-millimeter LEDs typically used by cinematographers. More effects are therefore unnecessary. LG Businesses USA head John Arce posted on LinkedIn with a timelapse preview of the recent campaign for the LG Signature M3 Series TV gaming monitor. “Had great fun creating a campaign video for our latest LG Signature Gaming monitor. It was my first time in a virtual production studio using a massive LED as a backdrop. Really interesting to see how the creatives from Greenvox Media. used the LED canvas in conjunction with the content on the LG Signature monitor. Thank you Blu Media Studio – a really great space you have there. Contact info@bluemediastudio.com if you want a supreme VX experience.” A video demonstrating the LG – SIGNATURE  M3 Series is available on social media. The M3 Class Series  is a 97-inch, webOS TV with Zero Connect , with a 4K (2160p) refresh rate and webOS 23, LG ThinQ AI, LG Channels, Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro, AI Sound Pro, Clear Voice Pro, Home Dashboard, LG Sound Sync.

Secrets Of A Perfect Corporate Video Interview

Corporate interviews are the perfect way to show the human side of your business. By having the CEO, founder or other client-facing employee talk on camera, you can form a more personal connection with your prospective customer, while expressing your videos key messages. But, there are key elements which separate an outstanding corporate interview from a mediocre one. Here are three of the most important things to consider when creating a corporate interview. #1 Eyeline One of the most important – and yet overlooked – elements in a corporate video is the eyeline. So how should you position the interview subject in the video? If we think about the screen as being divided into thirds, vertically and horizontally, then we want the interviewer’s eyes to be placed at the two third position.  It is best practice to keep about a third of an inch of space, in proportion to the subjects, head at the top of the screen. We also find that corporate interviews are most engaging when the subject talks just slightly off camera. This enables the speaker to talk directly with their audience without appearing confrontational. #2 Lighting Lighting the video correctly is essential. As noted above, maintaining a connection between the interview subject’s eyes and the audience is critical. One of the most common mistakes made when lighting a video is casting a shadow over the eyes of the interviewee. This creates a barrier between the viewer and the subject of the presentation. You also want to avoid creating any harsh shadows which will be distracting or undermine the appearance of the interviewee. You want the shadow to roll gently off their face. An area to watch out for is the interviewee’s nose. A badly lit nose can lead to a sharp line on the face. One way to overcome these problems is to hide the shadow in the smile lines. #3 Sound If you notice the sound in a corporate interview video then chances are something has gone wrong. If the sound is poor quality then it can distract the audience from what is being said and the core message. We also need to be careful to avoid any additional sounds which may cause disruptions to the video. This could include a passing plane, a calling telephone or a noisy air conditioning unit. To make sure that the sound is crystal clear we want to isolate the sound of the interview subject. To do this we use what is called a hypercardioid microphone. This heart shaped microphone is most sensitive to sounds that are directly in front of the microphone. This makes it perfect for capturing only the sound of the speaker. Need a corporate video?  How To Create Advisory Video Content From Your Next Event

Hosting an event can require a significant investment of time, money and energy. To ensure that you are maximising the impact of that event it’s a great idea to capture it on video. There are many types of footage that can be used as part of your event videos including:  But one often overlooked opportunity is recording advisory content. High quality events attract equally high quality attendees. These industry experts’ time is often scarce. But, while attending an event these people are often more than willing to spend a few minutes imparting extremely helpful advice. What is Advisory Content? Advisory content is a broad term but in regards to the type of footage captured at an event it can be described as follows. It is a relatively short video segment (30 seconds to 3 minutes being typical) with an industry expert talking straight to camera answering questions posed by the production crew. This is frequently unplanned and usually begins with the production crew asking whether the industry expert can share a moment of their time. What is the Purpose of Advisory Content? Capturing attendee testimonials is a great way of promoting the event – and it is well worthwhile getting these on video as well – but this is not the purpose of advisory content. Advisory content is not about selling, its purpose is to provide actionable advice that people watching the video can implement to overcome challenges and achieve their desired outcomes. What are the Benefits of Advisory Content? Advisory content provides a great way of associating your event or brand with the person who is sharing their expertise in a way that does not appear obtrusive. Because advisory content isn’t sales or promotional in nature people are likely to be much more comfortable with sharing on their social networks, especially if they identify or respect the person imparting the advice. Advisory content isn’t just about creating brand awareness either. Customers who are at the early stages of the “buyer’s journey” will often be looking for general information rather than for a specific product. They may not yet be aware which product or services are suitable for solving their problem. They may not even have clearly identified their problem yet. Advisory content enables you to get in front of a prospective at a very early stage which can help present your brand as their preferred solution when they are ready to purchase.
